Olaf Pit Bull Terrier & Husky Mix Newberg, OR

Olaf is a 1 year old Pitbull/Husky mix. He is about 75-80 lbs and besides filling out some, is pretty much full grown! He is a good boy and honestly quite goofy. Olaf knows sit, down and a few other basic commands. This boy would make someone a great hiking buddy. With a no-pull harness, he is good on-leash and he just enjoys time with his people. He loves ALL dogs! He can be a little in their face at times, but takes corrections from the dogs like a champ! He loves cuddles, giving kisses and truly is a big baby! Olaf is kennel trained and pretty much potty trained. There is history that didn't allow him to fully potty train when he was younger but, this is being corrected now. He just doesn't know how to ask to go outside. Olaf is still in puppy mode. He still has puppy energy and still has some puppy behaviors that we are correcting. The biggest two are that he jumps, and he nibbles. He is not doing it aggressively. It is more about getting attention or him not even realizing that he did it. Our current foster is working to correct those behaviors. Olaf is ok with dog savvy cats. However, if a cat runs, he will chase. He does not want to hurt the cats, just play with them! Olaf however CAN'T be around chickens. He will hurt and kill them. We would ask for a home that doesn't even have them around. Olaf needs an active family who is happy to continue training and cuddle this big goofball.

Olaf's adoption fee is $300. He is fixed, chipped, dewormed, flea treated, started on vaccines, and had a wellness exam.

We are accepting applications until Thursday at 5 pm. Decisions will be made by Friday afternoon and adoptions are on Sunday. For cats and kittens we do not do meet and greets.
