October Cane Corso Scituate, MA

This sweet, gentle giant is October. She is 92 lbs of perfection. Everyone who meets her instantly adores her! We guess October to be about 4-years-old.

October was shy to start but has quickly warmed up and made friends with everyone. She was part of a hoarding case and lived with 21 other dogs. She is nervous meeting new dogs but not all aggressive!

October is not housebroken but is working on it. She needs a patient owner who will give her time to learn the ropes. October walks very well on leash and is really a friend to all!

Since October has never lived with children and is so large, we are looking for a home with teens and adults. Breed experience is preferred but October is a really easy going, mellow girl.

While extra pups aren't for everyone, if you met October, she may convince you to go big or go home.

We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there.

Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need.

Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
