6/4/24-My sweet, little (she is much smaller than she appears in photos) Oakley continues to do so well. She is happiest when she is around people. She gets so excited when she greets me and has the cutest “tiny tail” wag and butt wiggle. I was a little nervous about a Mini Australian Shepherd puppy being too much energy for my other pets, but she is quite calm and does so well with both the dogs and cat. I think she would adapt well into any family. She has so much love to give.

6/01/24-Another beautiful day for Oakley to enjoy! She is such a happy and sweet girl! Everyone is missing out on this wonderful pup!

5/27/24-Happy Memorial Day from Oakley! She is loving the beautiful weather this afternoon. She is a sweet and playful girl who loves running around outside, but also loves to snuggle on the couch or next to it. She has learned how great treats are and that toys are fun too!

5/25/24-Oakley has had a great start in her foster home. She loves the dogs and doesn’t mind the cat. She went for her first walk yesterday and did very well on a leash. Right now she gets a little nervous about being picked up and doesn’t care too much for being carried, but she loves to snuggle up on the couch. She has been following me around the house and likes being right by my side. She also enjoys snuggling up with her chihuahua brother. She is a very sweet girl and loves to show her happiness with the wiggle of her bottom and tiny tail.

5/24/24-Meet my newest foster, Oakley! She came to me last night. She’s doing very well and is a sweetie!

5/23/24-Oakley is a 5 month old mini aussie (miniature Australian Shepherd) that came in tonight from a commercial breeder as she just got too old to sell. She arrived tonight along with her smaller sister June Carter Cash thanks to their transport volunteers. We estimate she will be about 25 lbs full grown.
