Introducing Oakley, a spirited young dog with the heart of a puppy! Just over a year old, this handsome fellow is believed to be a Pyrenees mix. Oakley is a quick learner, eager to please, and absolutely adores playtime with his foster mom.
He thrives on plenty of exercise and soothing attention from his human companions with lots of head scratches and belly rubs. He absolutely loves to play fetch in the backyard with all kinds of toys. After exercise, he is content to go to his crate and rest. Oakley is food-motivated and responds well to training with the aid of treats. He is very well trained and has never had an "accident" in his crate or inside the house.
Oakley is crate-trained for his foster mom's work hours, typically 5-7 hours a day. Following outdoor playtime, he can usually settle down to enjoy his supper and an evening of quiet time. He can relax with puzzle treats, kongs, and antler bones for long periods when his foster mom is doing housework.
Currently, Oakley finds meeting new people and encountering other dogs on walks a bit challenging, making leash walks difficult. Early morning or late evening walks are his preferred times.
Oakley will be absolutely devoted to his future family, providing them with endless love and companionship. To thrive, he needs a home that offers ample space for exercise, a kind and patient hand, and consistent, firm boundaries. As he's still a young dog navigating the world, ongoing leash training is essential to help him become a confident and well-mannered companion on walks.


Adoption fee is $295.00. He is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and current on vaccines.
