Meet Oakley, a 1-year-old Shepherd mix- your new adventure buddy! This young female pup is full of energy and fun times. Athletic, curious, funny, and affectionate, Oakley is a great companion for anyone looking for an adventurous dog. She's an attention seeker and very playful, so would do well as a running or hiking buddy. She is a shepherd, so please be aware of the breed characteristics and all the requirements that come with owning one. Oakley is very curious about everything and does well with other dogs. She is more submissive so a more confident dog to show her the ropes would be ideal. She's the perfect companion for somebody that wants to do a little training, a little leash work and some confidence building. She is shy at first but warms up quickly and will roll over for some belly rubs. She did come from a home with cats, dogs and kids and did well with all of those but we recommend no small kids due to her size. The public is welcome to come adopt the patriotic pets at the Camp Pendleton Animal Shelter! All dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, flea-treated, and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Adoption fee $110.

Please call ahead at 760-725-8120 to ensure the pet is still at the shelter, and to answer a few questions for us regarding that pet.

If you do not have regular, normal access to the base, please DO give us a call and we will work with you to arrange a meeting with the pet that interests you.
