A playful five-year-old American Pitbull Terrier/Boxer mix from Lake Geneva, WI, whose spirit shines as bright as her blue and white coat! Nyama is a bundle of joy and energy, ready to bring endless smiles and laughter to her new forever home. This medium-sized sweetheart, weighing around 60 pounds, is a true companion who adores snuggling and showering her people with kisses!

Nyama is the epitome of a loyal friend. She loves nothing more than running around and getting the zoomies, playing a spirited game of tug-of-war, and going on long walks! Her playful voice might be loud, but it's all part of her charm as she enthusiastically engages in her favorite activities. When it’s time to relax, Nyama transforms into the ultimate cuddle buddy, enjoying tummy rubs and snuggling in bed at night. Her nickname, Nyamas, reflects her affectionate and endearing nature!

Though Nyama is incredibly friendly with people, she needs to be the only pet in her home as she is fearful of other animals. Her ideal family would be one that understands dog behavior and enjoys engaging in continuous training. Nyama knows a host of commands, including sit, lay down, roll over, speak, give me paw, sit pretty, and be nice. She thrives on learning and performing new tricks, making her a delight to train and interact with!

Nyama is well potty trained and even rings a bell to let you know when she needs to go out, ensuring she never has an accident! She does best in a home with a fenced yard where she can run to her heart’s content. Nyama also loves car rides, though she might get a bit anxious. A little bit of anxiety medication helps her relax during these trips.

Feeding time is a special routine for Nyama. She enjoys Purina One turkey and venison kibble, with her meals spaced twice a day. Her smart and adaptable nature means she fits seamlessly into her family's schedule, sleeping when you sleep and always eager to spend time with you!

Nyama’s past has been a journey, but she has come out stronger and more loving. She is vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped, ready for a new chapter with a family that will cherish her!
