Nugget Morkie & Yorkshire Terrier Mix St. Cloud, FL

Little Nugget was kept outside for the first couple years of his life. The original owner eventually passed him along to a family member who owned him for the past year (inside) before deciding to surrender him, due to "just not having the time to dedicate to him". Nugget is supposedly a 3yr old yorkie maltese mix. He's neutered, utd with vaccines, & heartworm negative, ready to go to his new home!

His last owner worked on getting him potty trained but was never consistent enough to have him "house broken". He will need a bit of training so plan to spend lots of time with him in the beginning especially. She said Nugget is great with cats, dogs, and strangers! Never shown aggression. He's very loving & enjoys cuddling. A true velcro dog. He shows possible signs of separation anxiety (nervous panting when you leave the room) so we would prefer an adoption to a family with someone who works from home so he always has company around. He could do great also with a retired person or couple who can dedicate all their atrention. Keep in mind he's also a young & energetic dog, though, and will need plenty of stimulation. I would not recommend him to someone looking for a calm cuddly lap dog but moreso someone looking for their best buddy to adventure with AND cuddle.

His adoption fee will be $500 which covers all of his medical expenses as well as a bit towards the rescues' moving expenses.
