She's super, she's Nova, she's out of this world! Nova is a wonderful dog!

Nova is a 3 year old husky mix and weighs 46 lbs. Her foster reports that she is a moderate temperament, affectionate, gentle, and loves her daily exercise and mental stimulation. She is "uniquely smart and resilient. She is looking for an active experienced owner who can exercise and play with her 3-4 times per day - with at least one active playtime being about 45 minutes to an hour. As sled dogs, huskies maintain their energy throughout their life and especially appreciate an owner who wants to enjoy the cold with them. In her previous home, Nova was reportedly friendly with other dogs, so we think she will be ok with proper introductions. She has no experience with cats.


When at home, Nova loves having her belly rubbed. She will greet you each morning w kisses and snuggles. Her ideal home has someone at home regularly or a pack walker during the day. At home she is content to relax quietly in the same room near you.

Nova, also called Josephine or Jojo now, is fully vetted, spayed, micro chipped and ready for her forever home!
