Norman will be at our adoption day this Saturday, January 15th at the Hamilton Petsmart at the Hamilton Marketplace shopping center on Route 130 North from 12PM to 3PM. Please come and meet him and his friends!



Hi, my name is Norman. I am a loving and sweet, purebred German Shepherd Dog looking for my forever home. I am an extremely tall boy and weigh approximately 90 pounds. I am about 5-6 years old, neutered, up to date on shots, housebroken and crate trained.

I was found as a stray and brought to the shelter. I had to be literally nursed back to health, as I was completely emaciated and caught an upper respiratory infection at the shelter. I lived in a veterinary hospital for a while where I charmed everyone over - I even got the vet to share his pot roast dinner with me!

I am now much better and am living in foster care. I am extremely well behaved in the house and get along famously with all of the other dogs in my foster home. I am fine with cats too.

Everyone who meets me can't help but fall in love with my charming personality. I am loyal like a shepherd and bond very close to me people. I am also very affectionate - a true leaner and nuzzler. I am infamous for managing to squeeze my head under anyone's arm to get some pats and love. I really am happiest when someone is rubbing my ears, and if you stop, I'll just give you the big-brown-puppy-eyed look and nudge in closer to get some more love.

My favorite game is soccer and I'll run around in the yard throwing a soccer ball, sometimes pushing it into your hand so you'll play with me. I am an older guy so am very calm and mature. Most of the time however, I am quite content to just be hanging out with you or snoozing on my dog bed.
