Weighing around 42 pounds, Nonnie is a perfect medium-sized pup who's equally happy to be playing fetch as she is snoozing by your side. Nonnie's journey has been a bit tough--she arrived at her foster home with a serious illness, but with care and love, she's now healthy, energetic, and her joyful, spunky personality is shining through. Nonnie's looking for a family who is eager to love and be loved forever!

Nonnie is a social butterfly and adores other dogs, always ready for a playdate! She's been consistent with her house training and continues to improve each day. She's had some experience with crate training and would likely do well with continued training in the future. While she's been introduced to cats through a fence without much interest, her curious, gentle nature suggests she might do well with a slow introduction to a feline friend. Because of her exuberance and energy, she's best suited for a family with kids over 13.

Nonnie has some hilarious habits that are sure to make you smile: she barely ever barks, but she lets out an adorable "wooooh" (almost like a howl) on her first fetch of the ball. She'll nudge your hand if she's not done being petted, and her snoring and intense dreams while she snoozes are heart-melting! This sweet girl has a medium-to-high energy level, so she'll benefit from plenty of playtime, walks, and exercise, though she can also settle in for a cuddle session on the couch. While a fenced yard would be ideal, she'll do well with dedicated daily walks to help her burn off that puppy energy.

The adoption fee is $450. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional's recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown.
Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
