Meet Nessa our beautiful queen of love!!! Nessa is believed to be 4-5 years of age. A pitbull mix with love, loyalty, and devotion. Nessa had a hard shit life. Thanks to garbage humans. This girl was a bait dog, and she has the scars and deformity to show it. She survived not just physically but mentally and emotionally. Nevermore that life is in the past and not who she is now, nor has it broken her. Nor did it stop her from becoming and being the best dog ever. It took time but this girl overcame it all. She grew above, learned to trust, and has blossomed into the most beautiful soul. Nessa is everything perfect the breed is, has to offer, and then more. Because of her ability to recover rehab trust and love, she is even more amazing. SHE IS PERFECT. She has overcome and become what society claims the breed could never be. We gave her a chance and she proved everyone who doubted her wrong.
Nessa is all dogs of all ages and sizes, as well as cats, rabbits, turtles, chickens, bird flocks, and anything welcoming and friendly. She loves whole heartily every human, including children. She has so much love to share. She loves snuggling and cuddling with people and any animals who are willing. Nessa is very nurturing and her love is beyond the ability to be measured or words to share. Nessa is amazingly well-mannered. Nessa walks great on a leash and is exceptionally trained off-leash. Her recall is on point so is her basic obedience. Nessa loves going on walks, car rides, social, public outings, and everything and anything where she will welcomed and loved. Nessa makes a great city-living apartment dog too. A nice fenced-in yard, daily walks or outings, or just snuggling and cuddling and binge-watching nap-taking- it's all good. Nessa is best in a home where someone is home mostly. A buddy dog to keep company and play with. This girl needs someone who will love her and is confident with the breed. Nessa's best buddy here is Leo. Not because she needs him but because she became what he needs to continue to overcome his fears. This is who she has become in the Sanctuary pack.

Nessa is house and crate train. She walks well on a leash, and her recall of the leash is great.

All Adoptions Include:
• Spayed/Neutered
• Rabies Vaccination: 1 or 3 years.
• All Age Appropriate Core Vaccinations Including Lepto & Corona. 1 or 3 years.
• Heartworm tested Negative.
•Receive monthly Heartworm, Flea, and Tick Prevention.
• Lyme Disease Tested Negative.
• Dewormed and Fecal tested Negative.
• All testing completed within 6 -12 months.
•All age-appropriate needs (blood work, dental, testing, and meds)
• Lifetime Microchip Registration includes free unlimited updates.
•Feed a quality protein diet

Adoption Processing:
•Adoption application review can take up to 3 weeks.
• A minimum of 2 Meet & Greets are required before adopting.
•A home check needs to take place.
• Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense.
• We Do NOT ship any of our adoptable pets.
• Adoption fees are paid at the time of adoption
•No exchange or request for money is required before adoption.
•No payment plans.

AHRS Former Adopter:
• No adoption fee is required; a donation of choice is expected, encouraged, welcome, and appreciated.

Training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues and opportunities arise daily that have to be addressed and or rewarded. Continued training is a purity setting them up for success.
