Neptune is an absolute delight! This intelligent pup is so sweet. He’s dog and people-friendly, making him the perfect companion. He house-trained himself at just 7 weeks and is well-versed in using the doggy door.
Full of energy, Neptune would thrive on hikes and playtime with other dogs but also enjoys downtime around his people. While he’s learning not to pull on the leash, a no-pull harness could be beneficial. He should be fed separately due to his competitive nature. Standard height dog/baby gates won’t contain him in the home and he’ll need a 6ft secure privacy fence outdoors.
Neptune loves chewing on bones and has a knack for finding wood in the yard. He knows basic commands like sit, shake, and comes when called, and he’s currently working on “look at me.” He waits patiently for his food until given the “ok” and has recently mastered catching treats! Although crate trained, he prefers to sleep on a bed in the bedroom. His cleverness can lead to some mischief—he’s a bit of a counter surfer and a trash panda. Neptune is an affectionate cuddle bug who will bring joy to any home!
