Neo Shiba Inu Wappingers Falls , NY

Neo was abandoned by her originally owner, who left her the tied up in front of a Northern NJ Animal Shelter this pat August.

The foster family provided the following bio:
Neo is a sweet and affectionate female Shiba Inu who is the type that will be excited to see you every time you walk in the room. Once she warms up, she loves cuddling and will happily nudge you for pets. She can be shy at first, so introductions should be calm and patient, letting her approach and take treats at her own pace.

Once comfortable, Neo is a loyal sweet companion who loves following you around. She is good at recall and knows sit, come, goes to her playpen willingly if you direct her and is quick to pick up tricks. She loves playing fetch with a ball or her stuffed toys and always brings the it back! She is an eager to please and lively little dog. She loves her hikes and love exploring. We were told she has gone to doggy day care in the past but unfortunately does get along with the foster's two other dogs despite trying for a few months now. She still barks at the sight of them.

Neo is best suited to a home where she’s the only pet, and that can give her the love and attention she deserves.
