Nemo Pit Bull Terrier Garland, TX

Nemo is on the look out for her forever home! Could it be you? This sweet itty bitty pitty is a huge love bug! Pictures do not do her justice, she is pretty small for a Pitty mix! Her front leg had to be amputated due to an elbow fracture that wasn’t able to be repaired. She doesn’t let it slow her down though! She is kennel trained and potty trained. Nemo walks well on a leash, but can be reactive when overstimulated so we are still navigating her triggers and working with a trainer to improve this. She’s 4 years old and weighs about 45lbs. Nemo loves her people and you will be the center of her world. She gets so excited to meet new people too. Nemo is a perfect balance of fun and playful, but also super snuggly. She LOVES to love!

Nemo would do great with a family who is looking for a lower maintenance, happy dog. She does well with other dogs, whether it’s hanging out on the couch at night or engaging in rough and tumble play. Snoopy (also with our rescue) is her best friend, and seems to help her feel more secure and confident. It would be a dream come true for them to be adopted together! Nemo would also be fine on her own, and is always happy to keep herself busy with a solid chew toy. She does not do well with cats, and was very stressed in a home with multiple children. We think she should do best with one older child or no children.
