Hi! My name is Nelson and I am looking for a forever home. My previous owners decided to get some chickens and guess what, I liked to chase them and unfortunately was actually able to catch a few so my owners decided I had to go. They contacted a small local rescue who took me in and then contacted BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes! I am around 3-4years old and am a stocky boy at around 40lbs (my foster mom says maybe just a little too stocky so has me on a diet which is really sad 'cause I love food and treats which I will even sit for if you ask). I am an energetic boy who loves to go on adventures with my people and am good on leash so that will help me lose a pound or two and get to be with you at the same time as I love people ... win-win! I have gotten along with all of the other medium-larger size dogs I have met; however, I've shown way too much interest in the cats and foster mom says a home without them will be needed for me. I have done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of my bedding although I would really, really prefer to be out with you.
