Meet Nellie, a sweet 7-month-old Alabama special looking for her forever home! Nellie has been spayed, is up to date on all her shots, and is microchipped through SandiPaws Rescue.

Nellie is learning house manners and making great progress. She loves playing with her stuffed animals and chewing on deer antlers. She's doing well on leash walks and rides quietly in the car, though she needs some reassurance getting in and out--sometimes, she needs a little lift. Nellie knows her name, responds to "no," and comes when called.

A snuggle bug at heart, Nellie loves cozying up with her humans but can still be nervous around loud noises. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a loving home that can give her the comfort and patience she needs.
