Meet Nellie
The first step to adopting one of our pets is to complete an application at https://tapsusa.org/why-adopt/application/ The adoption radius is within 25 miles of 37737 because we ask volunteers to do home visits prior to finalizing an adoption (please understand we are not able to respond to applications from out of state).
TN Scholarship Pet Nellie was adopted from a shelter when she was only a few months old and spent her life with the same family. At 10 years old, they took Nellie back to that same shelter because they could not find housing to accept Nellie that they could also afford. She is an angel. She loves everyone. Her happy-overcome-anything personality is enhanced by her soft eyes and gently demeanor. Since Nellie has been with us, she has had a full dental procedure and a mass removed (which was affecting her gait). The mass was just fatty - benign - and now Nellie runs with the butterflies. Nellie is in overall good health and will make an amazing companion and friend.Â
