**Meet Nella: Your New Playful Companion!** This adorable 1-year-old Norweigan Elkhound/Great Pyr/ Aussie mix is ready to find her forever home or Foster. Nella is full of energy and loves to play, snuggle, and go for walks. She would thrive in a home with fenced yard (or apartment with an active owner) where she can enjoy her playful nature and cozy up with her humans.

Nella loves other dogs but resource guards her food from other dogs. While she enjoys playing with her furry friends and would do well at a dog park, it's important to manage her feeding time to ensure a harmonious environment. She would do well as an only dog and visit her friends on walks and parks.
Nella was adopted as a puppy by a deaf person and was returned 6 months later. It has been a struggle for her learning to dog and has been working with our trainer.

Adoption fee is $375 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.

STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
