Nanook Husky & Pomeranian Mix Springfield, MO

Hello! I am Nanook (named after the brave dog in the movie "The Lost Boys"). I am a 37 pound, 5 year old Pomeranian/Husky (heavy on the husky) mix guy. I was released to Rescue One by a breeder, but no more breeder life for me! I am laid back and smart. I have already mastered house training and leash training, and I am crate trained too. In fact, I love my crate. It's my safe space. I get along with other dogs with slow intros and I like respectful kids too, though bigger kiddos might be best since I might accidentally knock little bitties down. I haven't really been around cats, but I can be cat-tested if needed. I'm a little timid at first, but I really love being with my people!

My forever home needs a privacy-fenced yard for me to run and play in. After being cooped up in a breeder's cage most of my life, I have discovered how much I love running free! I am fine as an only dog or with a fur buddy. What I would really love is to have an active family that will take me with them on adventures to dog-friendly places often!

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
