Nanna Shih Tzu & Miniature Schnauzer Mix Southport, CT

Hi, I’m Nanna! I am a pretty little 1-year-old, 12 lb Schnauzer/Shih Tzu mix and I’m looking for a forever home. I was dumped at a high school in Mission Texas and the kids were being mean to me, throwing things, scaring me, and I was already scared enough! Thankfully a teacher picked me up, called a friend involved in dog rescue, and when they couldn't find my owner I was brought to San Antonio to live in a foster home for 4 Little Paws. Now that I am spayed, chipped, and vaccinated I am ready to get this party started and find my future!

My foster mom says I’m a sweet and friendly girl, always happy, always wagging and I love everyone, even strangers, children, cats, and dogs. I am very playful, love doggy toys, and treats and my dream is to be a lap dog so I can get pets and tummy rubs while snuggled in your lap. I am well-behaved, only bark to alert, already housebroken, and know how to use a potty pad if needed. I don’t like to share my food bowl with other dogs, but I will happily share my toys. My foster mom lets me sleep on the bed with her each night and during the day I nap in a doggy bed on the floor. I’m just a great little girl ready to meet you.
