Myles Black Labrador Retriever & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Rochester, NY

MYLES was adopted out from us last year but returned because he resource guards people and things from other animals. He's a very nice dog and good with people, but he needs a home where he can be the star of the show and no other animals vying for his people's attention. He's a little over a year old and is a labby-pitty mix of some sort. Fully vetted and about 60 lbs.
He loves to play with toys and get affection from his people. His favorite thing is to get rub downs from our volunteers and absolutely soaks up the affection!
Although he needs to be the only animal in the home, he has to potential to play with other dogs outside of the home. He would also do well in a home with school aged and up children. NO cats.

Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue.

We do most application processing virtually and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available.

PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada - sorry!)
