***We are truly guessing at what breed(s) Myla is, she is quite unique!!, we are just guessing because of her characteristics, coloring and body type. She is certainly a mix of some sort, a wonderful mix at that. Sweeeeeet Myla came to us due to her fearfulness at the shelter. She was in the best of hands but just was a bit too anxious to be put on the adoption floor there. Poor girl had been thru a lot. She had been in a shelter in Alabama, transferred to Chicago and came to us, now that is a lot going on for a young dog!! Myla is just 10 months old, about 45 pounds(could use a little weight) and is now settling in well at her foster home.

It took Myla a couple hours to realize she was going to be OK here. She came in with that fight or flight look so we left the leash on until she seemed to relax a little bit, the other dogs always help!! Myla LOVES to play with the other dogs of all shapes and sizes, she seems to gain confidence with her peers. A fearful dog will observe how the other dogs interact with the people and follow their lead. Myla us a quick learner and has become very affectionate in a short amount of time, such a sweetheart!! She has some rowdy puppy behaviors... BUT...she is housebroken, is not destructive and is very peaceful. She does require tons of activity so another active dog in the home is very important, Myla is NOT and apartment dog and will do best with a fenced in yard to run off all the extra energy.

Myla will do best with a very active family, small children may make her nervous and we do not have experience with her around very small kids. She is not a dog for first time dog owners, she will need someone that can build her confidence, keep her active and of course let her know how much she is loved--she has been really coming around and seeks attention. Myla is a beautiful, elegant dog, we are not sure what her breed(s) are, but she is quite striking.
