Meet Myka
My name is Myka, and I'm a five-year-old, 44-pound furball of love. Life wasn't always a bed of roses for me. I spent my first 4.5 years chained up, until a kind soul saved me. I love hanging out with my favorite human. Other dogs are cool, but I'd be most happy to be your one and only.
I'm not a big fan of rowdy playgroups or dog parks; I'd much rather snuggle up on the couch and give you all my love. Oh, and yeah, I've got these heartworm things going on, but I'm kicking its butt with some slow kill treatment. I'm all set on the health front, though, fully vetted and good to go.
A home with older kids and a calm vibe would be just perfect for me. I know my manners - I'm crate and house trained, and I'll wait patiently for that magical word to chow down. You know, dogs like me, we deserve a life far away from chains and dirt. I just want to feel the warmth of a true home and the love of my people.
