Meet Myers
Myers is a shy guy who doesn't settle in quickly and a quiet home without young children would be best. New people, loud noises, and fast movements can make him nervous, and he's not a fan of the camera just yet, although Joanne @fivefreedomsphotography, managed to get some great shots of him! Myers will need a calm home environment and someone willing to let him take things at his own pace.
Treats are the key to his heart, and once Myers begins to trust you, he'll reward your patience with snuggles, kisses, and his sweet, goofy personality. Because he is treat motivated, training will be a benefit to reinforce good behavior and help build his confidence. He lives life with quiet joy and has many favorite parts of the day-morning cuddles, walks, mealtime-you name it!
Myers is crate trained but prefers sleeping near you, whether that's on your bed or right on the floor beside it. He might like being in a home with another big, friendly dog to help show him the ropes as he's usually submissive with them and enjoys the company. (We recommend slow introductions). He's even met a cat before and, while curious, respected its space. Myers was previously in foster care where he proved that he is much more comfortable in a home environment - who could blame him?
Myer's is smart, trainable, and eager to please. He's a sweet, sensitive guy, waiting to be your loyal and affectionate friend.
Come meet this sweet, sensitive big dog!!

Myers is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
