Murphy American Bulldog & Black Mouth Cur Mix Franklin, NC

Murphy did have a person who loved him very much, and quite unexpectedly his person passed away. Unfortunately, there was no one within the family that was able to take Murphy in for various reasons. So Murphy has found himself without a permanent home. Thankfully, a generous person is fostering him for now, and luckily, the person is a dog trainer. So, Murphy is also receiving some training that will be beneficial for his new person or family. He is learning to control his jumping and mouthing for attention. His new person/family would just need to reinforce this going forward. He is a QUICK learner. His new person(s) should be an experienced dog handler, and an active individual.

Murphy is 2 years old, and was originally adopted from a local rescue group in Atlanta, which is where he is located currently. He is very playful and good natured, and has a lot of energy. He is an energetic adventure pup, and would be a great companion for someone who is active and has the time to provide him with the exercise and stimulation he needs. He LOVES chasing the ball AND the frisbee, or going for walks or runs. He also enjoys hikes. He is super smart, and could likely solve a dog puzzle quicker than most pups.

Murphy is good with other dogs and people, and older children who can handle his size and exuberance. He is okay with cats, depending upon the cats tolerance for play. He is definitely a fun-loving and great natured dog.

Murphy is house AND crate trained. He is going to make a wonderful and loving companion for some lucky person(s). We HOPE that will be YOU.
