Munch Chihuahua Mix Medfield, MA

Munch is a fun and playful pup looking for a loving home. He was taken away from his previous owner after he was neglected and starved. Munch was fostered and returned to health by the local animal control officer who rescued him. He’s now a happy, healthy, and playful pup, eager to find his forever family.
He is approximately five years old, and he weighs 25 lbs. His breed mix is a bit of a mystery—though his previous owner claimed he’s part Chihuahua, it’s clear he must be mixed with something larger. With his energy and love for adventure, Munch is searching for a family who can provide plenty of daily mental and physical activity. He loves to go for walks, play outside, and run around our fenced area. He likes some dogs but has a rough-and-tumble play style that not every dog enjoys. He may do well with a dog-savvy cat with likes to play with dogs. Munch can be mouthy when he gets excited, so we are looking for a home with older kids. He has had all of his vet care and is ready for adoption.

If a dog is listed on our website, they are still available for adoption, but there may be applications ahead of yours. We typically receive many applications for every dog we post. All adoption meetings are by appointment.

Our dog adoption fee is $450 for dogs seven months to seven years old and $250 for dogs eight years old and over. Every dog we place receives age-appropriate vaccines, is wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash. Please fill out the adoption application if you want to be considered for a dog you see in our care.

With few exceptions, dogs are happiest and well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families willing to commit to both.
