Mr. Sandy Pit Bull Terrier Mix Grants Pass, OR

Meet Mr. Sandy! This senior gentleman is about 55lbs and is estimated around 13 years old. He is gentle, has a very kind demeanor, and has been thriving in his foster home. He gets along great with the other dog in the home. He's looking for a forever home, where he can spend the rest of his days.

Here are some notes from his foster mom:
Sandy gets along well with other dogs from what we've seen. He barks when he sees other dogs or people walking but it's a happy bark to go visit.
He is deaf, but his vision seems to be normal. He is springy, and likes several short walks every day. He walks gently on the leash. If he doesn't think we've walked far enough he puts on the brakes for the turn down our street and insists on going a bit more. He has zero interest in balls or toys.
He needs to sleep with his people. I think he always slept with his person before so he insists on that. He eats well, sleeps well, totally house trained. He'll need regular ear cleaning and close monitoring for infection. He takes pills easily in canned dog food.
He's SUPER soft and enjoys petting all the time, he never tires of affection and if someone else is getting affection he'll get in there and take it for himself. Haha! We've never seen even a hint of aggressive behavior, he's as sweet as they come.

He's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. His adoption has been sponsored, which means there is no fee to take him home!
