If you are seeking a MEDIUM SIZE DOG TO BE YOUR BEST TAKE EVERYWHERE WITH YOU PUP, like to go hiking and for daily runs or long walks, work from home or can take a pup with you, Mozza may be your next best friend! He is a loyal and loving companion.
Mozza is a dog who needs a huge fenced area/acreage to run. He is truly a working breed and wants to be outdoors with you, where you are. He would not be great on an animal farm but would do well on a growing farm or with retired people who have land and FENCED ACREAGE TO EXPLORE WITH HIM AND KEEP HIM HAPPY. HE ALSO WOULD DO WELL WITH A SIMILAR-SIZED, energetic female dog for companionship and play.
Mozza is two years old and is ready for his forever home
Mozzafiato was rescued from a Texas shelter. The Catahoula-heeler makes a loyal companion. I do have to say, with consistency, positive reinforcement, and tons of encouragement, Mozza is a willing learner who thrives on positive feedback. He is so cuddly and kissy when he is worn out too. He really needs to be kept busy all day long or he becomes bored. Mozza needs an active adopter with land, time, and willingness to get out there and wear him out or give him a job. Professional training is a requirement for Mozza's adoption as Catahoula-Heelers thrive best with training and they love to learn, but they are also challenging to train. We have recommended-approved trainers to guide you. Mozzafiato can be the only dog. Catahoulas-heelers do like having buddies and he seems to do best with a female canine companion who can keep up with him. Mozza is up-to-date and neutered.
Mozza needs a small animal-free home. No small dogs, NO cats, No small animals as the breed pairing has a VERY high prey drive.
