Meet Motley! Motley is a rockstar pup who is confident and loyal with an amazing attitude about life. He is a 1 year 1 month old, 50 pound, male Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier mix. Motley lives in the moment and is sure to bring entertainment and excitement into his new home with his playful and silly shenanigans. Although Motley has a big fun loving personality, but don't mistake him for the class clown. This dude is smart and eager to learn. He is fully potty trained, knows "sit, shake, lay down, and high five", will "crate" with the command plus a treat. He is highly food motivated and willing to master new skills for a tasty reward. Motley plays well with other dogs and has the best time hanging out with his 3 dog buds in his foster home. Motley would do well in a home with people and pets that also enjoy an active and playful lifestyle. He loves playing outside, going on hikes, exploring, and trying new things. He is well balanced and also ready to snuggle up on the couch and relax. Motley seems to like children even though his foster home doesn't have any little ones for him to play with. He perks up and gives his best tail wags when he meets kiddos at local events. We believe he would do well with school aged children who are able to match his energy and parents ready to give him guidance.
