Meet Moses
Moses came to us via the city streets. A volunteer was on his way to work when he noticed a skeletal dog making his way across the street whilst dodging traffic. The bag of bones hopped right into the car when the volunteer stopped, and promptly fell asleep in the front seat with his head on the volunteer's lap!
Moses arrived at his foster home and the first words out of his foster mom's mouth were a dismayed, "HOLY MOSES". The name stuck.
A trip to the vet revealed that Moses was to thin to be even vaccinated. Luckily two weeks and 17 pounds later Mo is on his way to heath, happiness and hopefully a new home.
Mo is experiencing a lot of new things. Power windows in the car caused quite a commotion and ceiling fans were a whole new experience as well. Other new things, like a soft bed to lay on and cuddle time with people were a lot easier for Mo to appreciate.
Please consider sponsoring Moses while we work to get his weight up to normal and his house manners in place so he can enjoy being a dog in a new and loving home.
9/7/10 UPDATE: Moses is ready for a new home. His health is good, now. We are working on house manners and on the house breaking as well. His way of greeting everyone is the "paws around the neck" style so small children might be a little overwhelmed by him
