Morgan Anatolian Shepherd & Husky Mix Westfield, NY

Morgan, a female mixed breed dog, has made remarkable progress since arriving at NCCR from an animal cruelty case in Ohio where she and 80 other dogs were discovered in terrible conditions, with 40 of them deceased. After weeks of healing, Morgan's scars have mended, and she is feeling much better. Although she is initially reserved around people, she has shown no signs of aggression and gets along with most other dogs. She is used to hanging out with her friend Morgan so will need to have another friendly dog companion in her new household. She may require some training in housebreaking and obedience, and general adjusting to her new life.


If you think you might be interested in adopting, your first step should be to complete an  Adoption Application.  *After you have completed your application, you will get a confirmation that we have received your application. It takes a lot of time to process the applications, so we ask for your patience while we do so. If you see that the dog you were interested in has been adopted it means there were many applications for that dog and we did not get as far as processing your application before a home was found. We do adopt out of state, however we do not transport or ship dogs. Potential adopter must be able and willing to travel to the Rescue to meet the dog they are interested in.
