Moo Moo Pit Bull Terrier Camp Pendleton, CA

Moo Moo was brought to Camp Pendleton Animal Shelter as a stray, and she needs to live off base because pitties are now allowed to be on base. So...that does take a bit more time to get her introduced to prospective new families, but she is worth the time! We can arrange for you to meet her.

She is almost 5 years old and looks very much like a cow with her black and white pattern. Moo-Moo can be shy at first, and would need time and patience to warm up to a new environment, and feel confident that she is loved, and will be a real member of her new family. She likes getting tasty treats as a reward and has a gentle mouth when taking the treats from you. She is more open around women, and takes more time to be comfortable and trusting around men. She LOVES to cuddle, so save her a spot on the couch when it's time to watch the game or a movie. Moo Moo is choosy about her doggy friends, and would do best as the only dog at home. She doesn't mind about other dogs when she is out for a walk, she just prefers that they not be in her space. She is a polite girl with a shy nature at first, and would possibly make an amazing running partner for the right person. Moo-Moo wants so badly to please people, so be patience and consistent and give her a chance. In due time she will be that best friend you've been looking for. The public is welcome to come adopt the patriotic pets at the Camp Pendleton Animal Shelter! All dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, flea-treated, and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Adoption fee $110.
