Meet Monte
When you’re a puppy, at some point the compliments go from “what a chunk!” to “what a hunk!”. I am hitting that stage of puppyhood. I am taking off my cutie pie pants and putting my beef cake pants on. One leg at a time, 4 times. Speaking of 4, I am the largest of a litter of 4 cute Labrador Retriever mix puppies.
I am a very sleek spiffy looking guy with a coat of solid black, with just a small white patch on my chest to signify where my sweet sweet heart is. I have one sister, her name is Mila, and I am often the target of her sneak attacks. Sisters! Am I right? Sometimes I play along and sometimes I tell her how the cows eats the cabbage, because I am no wuss.
Speaking of sneaky attacks, I am a bit of a pot calling a kettle black, or black white and brown in this case, because my sister isn’t the only one who plots sneaky pounces. I myself have been known to scheme and creep up behind Foster Mommy to give her ponytail a pull when she is sitting with us. Ha! So much fun.
My playful and sweet temperament means I get along with all the other dogs and I am very good at playing with dogs. But I do indeed love my Foster Mommy and I most enjoy being nearby her and will settle into her lap for a little cat nap. Can dogs legally take cat naps?
Speaking of cats, Foster Mommy has only let me see cats from afar, but I am young enough to learn cats. I am young enough to learn everything. Foster Mommy thinks being at her house was the first time we even learned what grass was. We had kinda sheltered life as pups.
We were quick to acclimate to our new lives, and have done really well. My entire litter is super friendly and very cuddley. We are referred to as the “Tow Truck Litter” because our first owner had a tow truck. He did his best, but surrendered us to the rescue, because he knew we deserved more than he could give. Can you give me more? I love doing more and more stuff!
