Meet Monkey
Monkey was returned to the same shelter 9 years after he was adopted. Now a senior and mostly blind, he started deteriorating until we took him into rescue. He's an easygoing, low-maintenance kinda guy. He gets along with cats and dogs, and is happiest when he has a warm lap to curl up on. Although he can't see very well, he gets around just fine once he becomes familiar with his surroundings.
Monkey now 10 years old and a very CHONKY 20 lbs (needs to lose weight). He is fostered in Brooklyn and is available for adoption anywhere in the US as long as adopter is willing/able to travel to NYC to meet and adopt him.
