Meet Monica
Monica likes to be black and white about things. No gray areas for her. She loves her people so much that she is either playing with them and having a good old time, or she's sitting and snuggling right on top of them. Nowhere in between!
She's a 4-year-old Staffordshire Terrier/Blue Heeler who has beautiful black-and-white markings ranging from tiny little speckles up to full-sized black spots. So she hits all the notes for you speckle and spot lovers out there. She weighs about 60 lbs., and as you can tell, she just knows she is the perfect size for sitting/sleeping/laying on her people's laps. It's surprisingly comfortable, we have to say.
Monica loves to play and go for walks and yuk it up for fun. But when she's tired, she shows off one of her particularly strong skill sets: falling asleep in all kinds of crazy and hilarious positions. You heard it here first. Monica sleeps like no other! She also can serve as your own personal sunbeam locator around the house, because she likes to soak up the sun. If you're not sure exactly which areas of your house or yard are sunny, let Monica demonstrate for you on every sunny day.
Her antics and personality will keep you smiling, and those lap snuggles will fill your heart. You'll never feel lonely with Monica around.
She gets along great with people and likes meeting new human friends, but she'd do best to live in a house with kids over 10. She can be unsure about other dog friends, so for now we'd say she should probably be an only dog - and we'd encourage training for her to feel more confident and comfortable around other dogs. In the meantime, Monica can be every doggie in the world to you, for sure.
