Meet Mondo
Hi, I'm Mondo, and boy oh boy, am I special!
I was found as a stray on the run for at least two weeks back in July. Ever since, I have not been happy here at the shelter. All the loud barking and people moving close by quickly makes me anxious and fearful. I hide under my bed and quiver a lot.
I have warmed up to several ladies here over time here, and a couple of men, but initially, I usually don't like new people. It will take the right person with a lot of patience for me to warm up to them.
I am really hoping someone who is quiet and calm with a similar home life will take me under their wing. I LOVE dogs - big, little, all dogs. I need a peaceful home with patient people and a dog to help me realize how wonderful life can be outside the shelter.
If you are interested in adopting Mondo, please come by the shelter on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday from 1-6 pm.
