Meet Mona! Mona is approximately 5 years old. Weight 55 lbs.
Unfortunately, we're somewhat familiar with how Mona spent some of her life...she was living in deplorable conditions outside without proper shelter. Eventually, she was found as a stray and was not claimed by her owners, so much her background is unknown but her future is bright!

Mona is an absolute sweetheart and loves to be around people. She seems to respond best to the dogs with calm, gentle demeanors. She is used to being in a 'pack' from her hunting days.

We don't think she has had much for formal training but she is eager to please her humans. She loves going for walks! She does pull a little, so working with her on this a little every day would be best.

When she's outside, like most hounds, Mona LOVES to sniff and explore! Proper containment when she's out and about is important so that Mona doesn't become lost.

Mona seems potty trained as she keeps her kennel clean, but her family should expect to provide a refresher course so that she can learn the new potty schedule. Utilizing a crate during this time would also help.

She is fully vaccinated and will be spayed prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $180.00.
