SATURDAY, JAN. 18, from 12-3 PM: Dog adoption event at PETSMART in Olathe (119th & Strang Line) with Heart of America Humane Society. We’ll have several dogs there looking for homes!
SATURDAY, JAN. 18 from 12-3PM: Come see us at our PUPPIES & KITTENS ADOPTION EVENT at BASS PRO SHOP at THE LEGENDS located at 10300 Cabela Drive, KC Kansas 66111. We’ll have many pets available for adoption.

MOCHA is an adorable Pit Bull mix! She is 4 years old. Mocha is a very fun and sweet natured girl who loves to run and play. She has the best time with her friends in the play yard. She lights up when it’s her turn to go outside. She does need doggie friends her size and bigger. She also needs a home without cats. She likes children and lived with them previously. She keeps her kennel clean and loves to cuddle up in a big soft blanket. She also loves toys! Mocha dreams of a forever home and is just waiting for her perfect family to come find her.

We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
