Hi Folks! I am Misty and I am the complete canine love package! I was found on the streets of Alabama, and despite my rough start, I am full of sweetness and grace. I don't want to brag too much, but I am super gentle when meeting people for the first time. Once we get to know each other better I'm eager to share my desire for affection and playtime.

I'm also great with cats and dogs. While I am a fan of romping with other dogs, I listen well when the senior dog in my foster home isn't interested.

I have had no accidents of the bathroom variety and am also good in a crate. So, what more can you ask for? Well, if you are looking to get those 10k steps in, I love to go for long walks and I am great in the car, so let's go hiking!

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).

Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.

Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
