Missy's energy is contagious—she's a happy-go-lucky gal who loves to run, play at the dog park, chew bones, and engage in epic games of tug-of-war. She's pretty good on a leash, though she might bark at other dogs, but only because she's saying, "Hey, let's be friends!" Her heart truly belongs to smaller canine buddies; her best friend is a 5-pound Shih Tzu mix, and she melts around little dogs.

Not a fan of loud noises or water (baths are negotiable with treats!), Missy is all about the simple joys in life. She's incredibly friendly with people of all ages and has a special place in her heart for kids. Sure, she might get a tad overexcited and shower you with jumps and kisses when you first meet, but who wouldn't be flattered by such an enthusiastic greeting? A quick introduction on a leash, and she settles right down.

Worried about your shoes or furniture? Fear not! Missy's destructiveness is strictly reserved for her toys. She'll happily de-fluff a plushie in record time but leaves household items alone—just keep the paper towels out of reach unless you want confetti! She's not crate trained but behaves well when left to roam free, and she's left her digging days behind her.

Missy doesn't require a mansion with a big yard; she channels her energy through playtime with other dogs, tugging games with her humans, and leisurely walks filled with exciting sniffs and sights. She's the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a spirited, loving dog without the high-maintenance demands.

A quick heads-up: Missy is not a fan of feline friends. Her idea of playing with cats might involve a lot of enthusiastic chasing and that classic hound bark, which could ruffle some whiskers.
