Meet Missy

Missy came to us from a kill shelter in CA where she was at risk due to needing a dental cleaning. We were able to get all of her medical taken care of and she has recovered well. The shelter had her aged around 12 years but our vet thought she was at least 2-3 years younger. She gets along fine with all of the other animals (pups and kitties) and is housebroken with a dog door and/or regular opportunities to go out. She is a quiet girl and somewhat timid but she has had so much change and trauma we are sure she will blossom once in a forever home. Missy is around 11 lbs and seems to be at a healthy weight for her frame. Missy might not be leash trained though likely a little refresher would do the trick. She is fine in a crate and also has nice house manners so can be left free with no issues. Missy is fostering in Surprise.
