Meet Miss Nova!

Miss Nova is an adult Catahoula/Rottweiler mix who found herself on borrowed time when her and her sister lost the only home they've ever known due to no fault of their own. Luckily, Almost Home Foundation was able to step up and save both of them just in time, but now Miss Nova is looking for a forever home.

Miss Nova doesn't only have beauty, but she has brains too! She knows the commands: sit, down, paw, high-five, and spin (& boy oh boy, does she look adorable doing them)! She is potty trained, crate trained, and rides nicely in the car. She loves humans of all ages and would make the perfect family dog. She is currently fostered with several other dogs and does wonderful with all of them! (She also previously lived with a cat and we believe she could live with a cat again in her forever home). Miss Nova matches other dogs energy levels well and she is a playful girl who would love a playmate in her forever home. Don't get us wrong though, shes not ALL play. If allowed, Miss Nova will make herself right at home with you on a cozy couch or bed! If there's zzz's to catch, she will be sure to catch them!
