Minnie is a joyful, silly girl whose top priority is bringing a smile to your face! After spending over three months at the Vancouver animal shelter, Minnie finally found a loving foster home, where her true personality has blossomed. Now she’s ready to find her forever family!

Minnie is a true cuddle-bug! Her favourite place is by your side, snuggled in close, and her happiest moments are shared with kind, caring people. She has an endless supply of love, laughs, and a big heart just waiting for her very own family.

Quick Learner: Minnie is a smart cookie! She’s already learned to give her paw, lay down, and is eager to pick up more. At just under a year old, she’s in the perfect stage for training and is excited to learn.
A Dream Sleeping Partner: Minnie is a gentle, quiet sleeper who won’t disturb your sleep. She loves morning cuddles and is happy to sleep in if you want to!
Perfect House Manners: Minnie is housebroken, doesn’t beg at the table, and waits patiently while you get ready in the morning.

Minnie is still working on recall and sometimes gets a bit excited around other dogs, but she’s quick to listen when redirected. Since she likely hadn’t met many other dogs before joining us, she’s still learning her social skills but is already making great progress with positive reinforcement. She walks beautifully on a leash with her harness and is showing huge improvements every day.
Her Ideal Family: Minnie thrives with people who are patient and loving. She forms strong bonds with her humans and relies on their guidance in new situations. When feeling overwhelmed, she may nudge you for comfort—a sweet reminder that she trusts you to help her feel safe.
Minnie prefers human company over animal friends in the home, but with some positive experiences under her belt, she’s becoming more comfortable around other dogs.
