Meet Minnie
Minnie is a small black and white girl who has been learning the routines in her foster home very quickly. She's a smart cookie at only 5 months and like any IG puppy has a lot o
f energy. Minnie loves to be outside, lying in a sunny spot inside, or playing with the other three dogs in her foster home. (Stealing their toys is her favorite!) She has done very well crate training, sleeping in a kennel by herself overnight and going to her kennel when she's told. She also responds to her name when she's called- most of the time. :) Minnie travels well in the car and is starting to get get used to a leash. She is not going on leash walks yet, but she's walking in the yard on a leash for potty breaks at night and when traveling. Her potty skills are going well for her age and the breed, but she does have an occasional accident. If she doesn't get distracted playing outside, she doesn't have accidents inside. She has not had accidents in her kennel, but she's not been kenneled for more than 6 hours. Minnie would be okay as an only dog but would also love a friend with whom to play.
She has not been cat-tested, though she has met one and was indifferent. She eats well, is very food motivated yet gentle when being offered treats. Minnie is still getting used to being held for longer periods, but doesn't fight being picked up or petted, so that will also come with time, comfort, and consistency. Minnie is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations.
