Meet Minnie
Minnie was born in June 2020 and is so full of life and adventures. If you were looking for that all around American girl, she is your girl! She has a knack for swimming and loves to hit up the creek and take a dip, but she is just as happy to be inside getting her belly rubbed too. She has been enjoying her time at Lucky Dogs Training & More! located in Virginia. She loves playing with her foster brother (Gator, a CHAAMP Malamute). She could live with another male companion who is compatible with her play style. She would also be just as happy as the only dog in the home to be spoiled. She walks great on a leash and is learning that car takes her to great places. Minnie would do best in a home with older children and no small pets.

If you are interested in ADOPTING or FOSTERING, please complete an application by cutting & pasting the following link:
https://form.jotform.com/60794585351161
Or visit ***CHAAMP.org*** to access the Adoption/Foster link and learn about the process. https://www.chaamp.org/adoption-process
Your application tells us about your lifestyle and helps us find a potential match for you and your family. We are happy to work with you. For example, if you don't have a fence, we can help find alternatives and/or a dog that will do well without a fence.
A home visit is required prior to adoption/fostering. You can visit the malamute(s) once you've completed the process. Alternatively, you may volunteer and learn how rewards-based training brings out the best in malamutes.

CHAAMP accepts applications from Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington DC.
ADOPTION FEE: Adult dogs (2 years up to 8): $300.00 Â
All Malamutes are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines. Puppy fees are higher due to more vet visits and vaccines. The adoption fee helps us cover these costs.

CHAAMP is a proud rescue member of the Pet Professional Guild. We say no thank you to Shock, Prong, Choke, Pain, Force, and Fear. We understand safety is important to prevent being pulled by malamutes who were born to pull. We are happy to share options and other equipment to help you both be safe.
