Meet Mini
I am pleased to introduce Mini, she is approximately 3 years old and came to the ACDRA from a breeder with 5 puppies. All puppies have been adopted and Mini has gained weight been spayed and now it is her turn for her to find her forever home. Mini is super sweet and loves her people. She loves the kids in her foster home which range from 5 years to 16, but she is high energy so she would do good in a home with older kids. Mini is always looking for attention, but it’s hard for her to sit still while being pet, with her energy. Instead she wants to be in your face giving kisses and nibbles. She also uses her paws a lot to love.
She does well in a crate, she gets along with most other dogs, is ok with cats even though her herding instincts can be over whelming at times (dog savvy ,cats should be fine). She does not do well with birds. Mini has been working on potty training (she was keep in a barn stall, until now). She pulls some on a leash until she gets that energy out. She will need a fenced yard or an owner who is ok with always walking her on a leash as her recall isn’t the best.
Mini is a chewer and if she doesn’t have her own toys, she will make her own toys. She can be reactive with certain people and her new home will need to have lots of cattle dog knowledge and be very patient as we have been working on these things.
If you would like any other information about Mini please contact her foster home at Cutecowgirlnc@yahoo.com. She is being fostered in KY.
