==============================================
@ Milo’s Personality:
He has a typical bulldog temperament - stubborn, playful, and friendly, gentle, sweet, goofy, lazy, and cute.
He’s very affectionate and demands a lot of attention from his humans.
He is calm most of the time but is easily excitable and sometimes plays rough. He needs firm and consistent training for short walks on leash. No off-leashing when walking outside unless a fenced area. Owners must be aware of outside temperature because of heat exhaustion.
@ With strangers: Good.
Milo is friendly to everyone, kids, cats, but he is a bit shy and reserved in the beginning.
|
@ With other dogs: Good.
He’s good with other dogs but might hump other dogs, therefore more socializing and corrective actions are needed.
@ With kids: Good,
but prefer NO kids under 12 years old, as he is strong and can play too rough sometimes.
@ With cats: OK.
But owners should watch for any potential skin allergies if any skin abnormalities were to occur after contact.
@ Energy level: LOW.
He requires little exercise daily. About 30 mins walks maximum twice a day when it’s cool outside.
@ House-training: Milo is house trained.
He prefers to do his business in a fenced yard or on the walk. He needs to go out at least 4 times a day for his pee break.
@ Chewing issue: No, but he likes to suck on clothes like blankets, towels and his stuffed toys.
@ Barking: No, he’s very quiet.
@ No food or toy aggression with other dogs and people.
@ Health:
1. Milo is up to date with his vaccinations (May 2021) / has microchip
2. Milo has some ongoing skin sensitivity /allergy issue and ear cleanliness that require constant attention to ensure optimal condition.
==============================================
We are looking for a very loving family that fits the following criteria:
1. Only adopted to a house with fully enclosed & fenced yard. -- Milo loves to hang out in back yard for a sunbath and run around freely at a high rate of speed.
2. Must be an experienced bull dog owner. Prefer an experienced English Bull dog lover.
3. You are committed to provide "homemade food or raw food. No kibbles.
4. You are committed to provide a forever loving home to Milo.
5. Milo loves his human's attention so prefer a family that will not leave him alone for long periods during the day (less than 5 hours).
6. Must be allowed on your couches and beds.
7. Must adopted to families without any young kids under 12 years old.
8. Can provide daily exercise in the form of walks or playing in a fenced yard, or the off leash dog park. Milo is a lazy bone, therefore he has to be afforded opportunities to exercise. No off-leashing when on sidewalks.

This is from the foster family
1. Milo’s face (wrinkles, folds and tear lines) are to be wiped several times a day throughout the day with unscented baby wipes and then tissue paper to ensure they are completely clean and dry. The wrinkles, folds, and tear lines were then applied with “Squishy face” brand paste to keep them from becoming yeasty and infected.
2. His ears are rinsed/massaged 3 times a week with “Pro Otic” brand ear cleansing/drying solution available from any vets, as his ears were very infected when the foster family took over him.
hence regular cleaning with solution is a must. He does not like his ears to be cleaned, but loves his ears being massaged after the solution has been applied inside.
3. He should be bathed at least once every 2 weeks with particular attention to these areas: face, paws, under belly & penis, tail, and hips. He should be dried with towels and then blow dry especially in the areas mentioned above.
4. After his daily walks, he should be rinsed with water around the paws, legs, thighs, and under belly & penis area. After peeing and pooping, his bum and penis should be wiped with baby wipes and then tissues to dry them. He loves to run around in the fenced yard at a high rate of speed just before pooping. This is normal for him.
5. Traditional Chinese herbal medicine powder prescribed to him has been fed to him during his meals mixed with the food. This has helped with his skin allergies. His allergies may be environmental and/or food related. This is believed to be a life long issue.
6. He can be easily scared with things he has never seen before or is foreign to him. For example, he was scared of the portable ac even when it was not on. But he’s not scared of the hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, Rumba. He’s scared of the broom and mop when they are in use. Once an empty plastic bag was blown in his direction by the fan and he got scared and ran away.
