Millie Hound & Shepherd Mix Orange, VA

Millie is a chubby honey who loves people and is social with other dogs too. Housebroken and well-mannered, she “sits” for treats or attention and walks easily on leash. Millie’s most favorite thing in the whole wide world is to lie on the floor while you rub her belly. She gets so happy!! She also likes to snuggle in her blankets. Millie is gentle, loving and actually “kind” if one can apply that term to a doggie. She is an indoor pet and companion who has always been loved. She is a senior lady so children should be as gentle to her as she is with them. Millie is a spayed female Hound/Shepherd mix, 10 years of age. She has been vetted, vaccinated, tested and microchipped. Millie is classified as a special needs adoption only because she developed a small mast cell tumor on her left hind flank. We had surgery performed and she has healed beautifully. This has not affected her quality of life at all however there is a possibility it may reoccur in the future.
*Millie can be adopted singly or as a two-for-one with her sister "Jillie." They are NOT a bonded pair and adjust well in new circumstances.
