Meet Miles

My name is Miles. And I am not quite as gussied up as my brother Maverick who was born wearing a tuxedo, but I am not quite as dark as my brother Monte, I am somewhere in between with a mostly black coat and some partial white feet and a small white patch on my chest, a super hero patch.

I started off as the smallest in my litter of four Labrador Retriever mix pups, but I since caught up with the others in size. I am the shyest and most reserved or independent of th litter, but not afraid or timid, just keep more to myself than the others.

I am playful too, but I prefer to avoid the drama my sister can create as far as rumbles and shake downs go. But I am not a wilting violet and I will put my sister in her place, if she is causing a stink, by saying “hold your horses” which means to slow down in southern drawl. I have gumption when I need it.

I tend to do my own thing and don’t have the need for hussle and bussle. I am incredibly sweet and enjoy snuggling with Foster Mommy when she is sitting with us. I reckon I will make a very good pup for someone out there that doesn’t want an obnoxious puppy and wants a more laid back type of guy.

I am part of the “Tow Truck Litter” as our first home was a tow truck owner. He did his best for us, but had his hands full with an entire litter and surrendered us to the rescue to find a better life. We transitioned to a new lifestyle quickly. We get along with kids and dogs. I have seen cats through the window and at this age could learn cats.

Miles- neutered male, DOB 9-24-23, will likely be large, black/white, Labrador Retriever mix, good with dogs, good with kids, not cat tested but young enough to learn, working on potty/crate training, friendly, handsome, sweet, and more reserved/independent than siblings
