Meet Miles!

Miles is just over 1 year old and 56 pounds. He is very high energy which is common of his breeds and it would be best to be in a home with no cats or small children, although he does seem to like some other dogs; meet and greets would be required. Miles was returned to us after a short 3 months at no fault of his own and will need to go to a home that can remain dedicated to his obedience training. He seems to have some slight separation anxiety, so a home with a good routine or someone to spend a lot of time with him would be ideal. He is working on house training and basic manners and does know some commands, he is doing better with his leash training, but again he WILL need obedience classes to be continued. He enjoys playing fetch and running around in the yard with his people, a fenced in yard would be best. As is typical with retriever/ shepherds he needs to stay busy or he gets antsy and destructive, his new family should be familiar with those needs. We are worried the high stress of shelter life will hurt his training progress so far and would love to get him into the right home quickly. Miles is a good boy who just needs someone who can commit to helping him become the best boy! Miles is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped.
